  1.      Send in your one-level deathmatch wad to be entered in our contest for 
  2. the best (one-level deathmatch wad).  We will be taking 20 Doom2 wads and 
  3. creating multilevel wads for a doom2 deathmatch.  After compiling all the wads
  4. into a deathmatch multilevel wad each person who plays this multiplayer
  5. wad can vote one time on the best level.  We play deathmatch levels
  6. nightly on our bbs and would love to have some new wads to play.  Also we will
  7. be uploading the new multilevel wads to other bbs's.  You will be given credit
  8. in the docs for any levels you create.  
  9.      When creating your level please follow a few guidlines to help create a 
  10. multilevel wad with some kind of continuity.  No monsters, an exit that  
  11. is clearly marked or none at all  No new sounds; they will be added when 
  12. compiling the multilevel wad.  If you would like to leave your favorite sounds 
  13. we welcome them.  They may be used or part of them used, in the final version.  
  14.      What will you win?  first place will win 20 free hours on the bbs, second
  15. place 15 free hours, and third place 10 free hours.  But the best thing you 
  16. will get is a lot of new multiplayer wads to play deathmatch on.
  17.      How will the levels be judged?  Anyone playing in a game with 2,3 or 4 
  18. players will be given an opportunity to vote one time on the best level by 
  19. taking a poll on the bbs.
  20.      How many levels can you enter?  As many as you would like; the first 20
  21. levels selected will be in the multiplayer wad and will be judged.  Then 
  22. everytime we have an additional 20 wads we will created the next one and 
  23. judge it and so on.
  24.      Can your wad be changed?  Yes, but probably not.  Any problems that are 
  25. found may be changed or fixed.  Your level after being played may be left out
  26. it there are problem with how it runs.  We want to have clean levels that
  27. will be appreciated when played.
  28.      Can you send in sprites or wall textures?  Yes, but keep in mind we are 
  29. creating multiplayer wads with many authors so don't make your wad incompatable
  30. with other people's entries.  If you have something you feel will add to 
  31. the multiplayer wads send it in and it may be added.
  32.      Where do you send your wad?  ABBS at 817-629-8308 please leave your new
  33. wad in the file directories under the directory called contest.  You don't 
  34. have to be a member to upload your file or download from that directory.  Make 
  35. sure to leave docs where to contact you or leave where E-mail can be left for 
  36. you.
